What are the common problems of dispensing machine? How to solve?

Problems often encountered when the dispensing machine is running: the glue valve drips glue, the glue output speed is too slow, the glue output is inconsistent, and the glue is broken.

(1) glue valve glue

Most of the dripping of the glue valve occurs after the glue valve is closed. There are two main reasons. One is: because the used needle has been used for too long or the needle is bumped during operation, the needle is worn or deformed. A needle that is too small or too large will also affect the flow of glue, and pressure will build up in the valve, causing the glue to drip out after the valve is closed. The second is: there are air bubbles in the glue valve, which cannot meet the air pressure requirements of the valve body required for dispensing, causing the glue to slowly leak out. In order to prevent glue leakage caused by air problems, the glue is usually degassed and vacuumed first, and the air at the end and the waste glue from the previous few times are discharged when the glue valve is pumped.

(2) The flow rate is too slow

Check whether the needle is blocked and the push rod cannot go down. If not, check whether the parameters have changed. You can appropriately increase the pumping speed of the glue valve to improve the flow rate of glue.

The size of the glue output is inconsistent

The main reason for inconsistent glue output from the glue valve is that the glue valve storing glue or the air pressure pumped in is unstable. The intake pressure regulator should be set 10 to 20 psi lower than the lowest pressure in the factory, and avoid using the low pressure part of the pressure gauge. The glue valve controls the pressure to increase the glue viscosity appropriately, generally between 50 and 150. Finally check the glue out time. Too short will cause the glue to flow too fast, and the glue will easily adhere to the needle. If the glue takes a long time, the glue will be stable, but too long will lead to low production efficiency, so the length of time depends on the amount of glue.

(4) Causes of glue breaking during dispensing

Whether there is a problem with the glue: deterioration, air bubbles, clogging, incomplete defoaming, glue not fully mixed; whether the dispensing controller is working normally, whether the switching valve of the glue valve is stuck by glue; whether the parameter setting of the dispensing controller is wrong; Foreign matter or blockage, or deformation.

(5) Glue clogging

If the glue is used for too long, it will cause the glue to solidify and block. Make sure to use fresh AB glue (3 hours), and clean the glue valve and needle regularly. In addition, in order to prevent the glue from deteriorating due to excessive humidity in the workshop, it is necessary to install a filter between the air pressure and the glue valve system in the factory.
